Built in 1977, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #324) as the Miss Beatrice G and B Marine G and B Marine Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 1998, G and B Marine Incorporated renamed the tug as the Capt. L. Gambarella.

In 1999, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2000, the tug was acquired by R and B Falcon Marine Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Flying Eagle.

In 2001, the tug was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed Delta Cajun.

In 2011, She was then acquired by Robbins Maritime LLC. of Norfolk, Virginia. Where the tug was renamed as the Cajun

Powered by two, Cummins QSK-19 diesel engines. Turning two, 60(in) by 52(in), fixed pitch propellers. She is twin screw, rated at 2,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW, Kubota generator sets. The tug's capacities are 14,500 gallons of fuel, 5,000 gallons of potable water and 500 gallons of lube oil.

The towing equipment consists of a single drum, Smatco towing winch with suitcase drum. Outfitted with 1,200(ft) of 1.75(in) towing wire.
