Built in 2011, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #436) as the Crimson Victory for the Crimson Shipping Company Incorporated of Mobile, Alabama.

Rene J. Cheramie and Sons Incorporated of Lafayette, Louisiana was contracted to crew, manage and operate the tug.

In 2024, the tug was acquired by the DonJon Marine Company Incorporated of Hillside, New Jersey. Where she was renamed as the Casey Ann.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516-B diesel engines. With Reintjes reduction gears. Turning two, 101(in) by 111(in), Rolls-Royce, fixed pitch propellers fitted in Type 37 kort nozzles. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 4,750 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW, John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 120,000 gallons of fuel.

The towing equipment consists of a double drum, Markey TDSD-34, towing winch. Outfitted with 2,850(ft) of 2.25(in) towing wire on the starboard towing drum and an additional 1,840(ft) of 2.25(in) towing wire on the port auxiliary drum. The winch is powered by a dedicated Caterpillar 3304 C6.6 turbo diesel engine.
