The Pringle Barge Lines Incorporated of Cleveland, Ohio. Was established in the 1920's a subsidy of the Oglebay, Norton and Company of Cleveland, Ohio during a period of restructuring of the Oglebay, Norton and Company.

In 1940, Pringle Barge Lines Incorporated was reabsorbed back into it's parent company the Oglebay, Norton and Company. In an effort to consolidate the company due to losses from foreign competition.
