Founded in 2013, the River Services Company was a small company independently owned company, operating out of Pier 5. Located at the Philadelphia Navy Yard in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

The company offered services including marine construction platforms, fireworks and construction platforms, as well as launch and stores deliveries.

In 2020, The River Services Company was absorbed into Northstar Marine Incorporated of Clermont, New Jersey. Where the company was rebranded as Northstar River Services.
