Constellation Maritime, was acquired by Foss Maritime in 2006. They are a full service marine company providing harbor assist in Boston harbor and project support from Key West to Canadian Maritimes.
In addition to tanker escort and ship assist work, Their services include anchor handling, grey water removal, and construction support.
The Company currently maintains a fleet of nine tugs, a crew boat, and five barges for coastal towing, marine construction, and ship docking.
In 2006, the company was acquired by Foss Maritime of Seattle, Washington. Where the company became a subsidiary of Foss under the Constellation Maritime Banner.
In 2011, the company was reorganized back into Foss Maritime. However in 2012, despite being reabsorbed in Foss Marine Holdings. The Boston Division's assets where acquired by McAllister Towing and Transportation of New York, New York.
