Built in 2014 by Eastern Shipbuilding at Panama City, Florida as the Capt. Troy J Hotard (hull #186) for Florida Marine Transporters of Mandeville, Louisiana.

In 2017, the tug was acquired by the Shaver Transportation Company of Portland, Oregon. Where she was renamed as the Lincoln.

She is a twin screw, square-bow towboat. The tug's powerplant consists of two CAT 3512C diesels turning two propellers, for a rated 3,000 horsepower.
