Built in 1976, by Quality Shipyards of Houma, Louisiana (hull #135) as the Captain Dann for Dann Ocean Towing of Tampa, Florida.
The tug was later acquired by Bouchard Transportation of Melville, New York where she was renamed as the Patricia A. Bouchard.
Her name was later changed to the Evening Mist.
She is a twin screw rated at 3,000 horsepower.
