Built in 1976, by Main Iron Works of Houma, Louisiana (hull #308) as the McAllister Girls for the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York.
In 1977, the tug was transferred to the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of Antilles of Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. Where she was renamed as the Krabe.
In 1987, she was renamed as the Ciudad Madeiro.
In 1988, the tug was acquired by Maritima Ordaz SA of Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela. Where she was renamed as the Anna C.
In 1989, she was acquired by the Bonaire Petroleum Company of Antilles of Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. Where she was renamed as the Mayo.
Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, EMD diesel engines. Turning two 230(mm) by 254(mm), fixed pitch propellers, for a rated 3,900 horsepower.
