Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, Tier IV complaint, Caterpillar 3516E diesel engines. With Lufkin MV1600S gears, at a ratio of 2:1. With Schottel SRP 4000 FP z-drives. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 6,770 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by three, 118kW, Tier III compliant, Caterpillar generator sets. Driven by three, keel-cooled, Caterpillar C7.1 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 58,710 gallons of fuel, 545 gallons of lube oil, 2,500 gallons of urea, 1,444 gallons of of waste oil, 3,075 gallons of potable water, and 750 gallons of foam water.
She is outfitted with two, 1,200(lb), FFS fire monitors. Rated at 5,284 gallons per minute, with adjustable fog tips, and foam capabilities, and a deluge system. Fed by two FFS SFP 250x350 fire pumps, rated at 5,980 gallons per minute. Driven by two, Tier IV compliant, Caterpillar C18 diesel engines, rated at 831 horsepower.
The towing equipment consists of a Markey DEPCF-52, asymmetric, render-recover, winch mounted on the bow. And, a Markey DEPC-42 towing winch, outfitted with 2,500(ft) of 2.25(in) towing wire on the stern.
