Built in 1999, by Marco Shipbuilding Incorporated of Seattle, Washington (hull #482) as the Delta Linda for Bay and Delta Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.
In 2009, the tug was chartered by the Signet Maritime Corporation of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Signet Intrepid.
In 2009, the Signet Maritime Corporation acquired the tug. Where she retained her name.
In 2018, the tug was acquired by the McAllister Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Beverly R. McAllister.
Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines. With two Ulstein 1650H z-drives, fitted with 94.5(in)2,400(mm), four bladed NIBRAL propellers. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 5,500 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 105kW Caterpillar 3304 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 103,181 gallons of fuel, and 7,000 gallons of potable water.
The towing equipment consists of a Burrard Iron Works HE winch, outfitted with 600(ft) of 2.75(in) Saturn 12 HMPE hawser, mounted on the bow. And, a double drum Burrard Iron Works HJD towing winch outfitted with 2,000(ft) 2.25(in) of hawser on one drum, and 2,200(ft) of 2(in) hawser on the secondary drum.
