Built in 1903, at Hoquiam, Washington as the Pilot for the Polson Logging Company of Hoquiam, Washington.

In 1927, she was acquired by Foss Launch and Tug Company of Tacoma, Washington. Where the tug was renamed Lorna Foss.

In 1958, the tug was acquired by a private, undisclosed interest. Where she retained her name.

In 2013, she was acquired by an undisclosed, private interest, based in British Columbia.

On April 1st 2016, she sank in Deep Bay, British Columbia. She was a single screw tug, rated at 120 horsepower.
