Built in 1981, by Mikron shipyard Incorporated of Galliano, Louisiana (hull #3) as the Eric Paul for the St. Pierre Towing Company of Cut Off, Louisiana.

The tug was later acquired by the Indian Creek Barge Corporation of Norfolk, Virginia. Where she was renamed as the Jacqueline A.

In 2007, she was acquired by Sealand Transport Company of Urbanna, Virginia. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2012, the tug was acquired by Ward Towing Incorporated of Deltaville, Virginia. Where she retained her name.

In 2023, she sank off of the coast of South Carolina. The tug was later salvaged and scrapped.

Powered by two, MTU 8V 2000 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 516 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning two, 65(in) by 52(in), four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.

Her electrical service was provided by two, 35kW, Northern Lights 944 generator sets. Driven by two, PX 33262 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 85,000 gallons of fuel, 70 gallons of sewage, and 9,000 gallons of water.
