Built in 2011, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #430) as the J.J. Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2019, the Cenac Towing Company was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Osceola.

Powered by two, Cummins QSK-50 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 3,200 horsepower.
