Built in 1979, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #347) as the Dean Reinauer for the Reinauer Transportation Companies of Staten Island, New York.
In 2009, the tug was transferred to the Reinauer Transportation Company's subsidy the Boston Towing and Transportation Company of Boston, Massachusetts. Where she retained her name.
In 2009, she was transferred to the Reinauer Transportation Company's subsidy SENESCO Marine Incorporated of North Kingstown, Rhode Island for use as a yard tug, where the tug retained her name.
In 2011, the tug was acquired by Runner Marine Limited. A division of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited of Lagos, Nigeria. Where she was renamed as the Delta.
She was powered by two, Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,060 horsepower. With Caterpillar 7251 reduction gears turning two, 74(in), by 74(in) pitch, fixed pitch, propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated 2,600 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, 105kW, Caterpillar generator sets. Driven by two, Caterpillar 3304 engines. The tug's capacities were 13,500 gallons of fuel oil, 600 gallons of lube oil, and 8,000 gallons of potable water.
