In 1980, the tug was acquired by McRow Tow Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana where she was renamed as the Jamie T.

In 1983, she was acquired by Gunter Marine Limited of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Debra Gunter.

In 1988, the tug was acquired by the Choctaw Transportation Company of Dyersburg, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Ms. Nancy C.

Powered by two, GM 12V-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.5:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 800 horsepower.
