Built in 2013, by Raymond and Associates Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #470) as the Duke for the Gatx Corporation of San Francisco, California.

Named for actor Tim Holt's horse, Duke. Who starred in many western films alongside Holt.

In 2013, Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington was contracted to manage, crew, and operate the vessel.

In 2019, the tug was acquired by the Campbell Transportation Company of Houston, Pennsylvania, where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Tier III compliant, Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 5560 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:01. Turning two, four bladed, fixed pitch, stainless steel propellers. For a rated 2,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 40,360 gallons of fuel, 8,000 gallons of water, and 800 gallons of lube oil.

The towing gear consists of two, 65 ton, Wintech 641L-RC winches, mounted on her bow.
