In 1998, she was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2018, the tug was acquired by Ohio River Salvage Incorporated of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Where she retained her name.
In 2019, she was acquired by McGinnis Incorporated of South Point, Ohio. Where the tug was renamed as the Ed McLaughlin.
Repowered in 2001, the tug is driven by two Mitsubishi S6A3-MPTA diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.53:1. She is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 960 horsepower.
