Built in 1992, by Leevac Shipyards Incorporated of Jennings, Louisiana (hull #302) as the Miss Marianne Higman Barge Lines Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 2005, the tug was acquired by Daigle Towing Service Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Brayden Ray.

Powered by two, GM 8V-149TI diesel engines. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,600 horsepower.
