In 2008, the tug was acquired by Lafayette Workboat Rentals Incorporated of Broussard, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mr. R.L. Guidry.

In 2010, she was acquired by Captain Earl Devall of Hackberry, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Captain Earl Devall.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3412 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.9:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,440 horsepower.
