Built in 1966, by Nolty J. Theriot Incorporated of Golden Meadow, Louisiana (hull #18) as the J.V. Alario for Nolty J. Theriot Offshore Incorporated of Golden Meadow, Louisiana.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Alyssa Ann.

Named for Alyssa Ann “Lissy” Moore, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as an infant. In1998, she passed away from cystic fibrosis at the age of fifteen. Her family continues to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Harley Marine Services named two vessels named for Alyssa Ann “Lissy” Moore. The Alyssa Ann, and the Lissy Too.

In 2019, Harley Marine Services Incorporated became the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2020, the tug was "laid up" at Seattle, Washington.

Powered by two, EMD 8-645E2 diesel engines. With reduction gears, at a ratio of 3.00:1. Turning two, 73(in) by 72(in), four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. Mounted in type 34 kort nozzles, for a rated 2,100 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW/208V Delco generator sets. Driven by two, Detroit Diesel 4-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 51,328 gallons of fuel, 6,456 gallons of water, 540 gallons of lube oil, and 134 gallons of hydraulic oil.

The towing equipment consists of a single drum, Almon Johnson towing winch. Outfitted with 2,400(ft) of 1.75(in) towing wire, mounted on her stern. And, a Nordic winch outfitted with 300(ft) of 1.25(in) mounted on her bow.
