Built in 1977, by Main Iron Works of Houma, Louisiana (hull #321) as the Iver Foss for the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington.
Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, Caterpillar diesel engines. Turning two, cast steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 2,400 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 75kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 71,326 gallons of fuel
