Built in 2016, by Diversified Marine Incorporated of Portland, Oregon (hull #34) as the Earl W. Redd for Tug Construction LLC. of Seattle, Washington.

In 2016, the tug was chartered to Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.

In 2019, she was returned to Tug Construction LLC. of Seattle, Washington. Where she was chartered to the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2019, she was allocated to the Foss Maritime Company subsidiary the Cook Inlet Tug and Barge Company of Anchorage, Alaska. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2021, the tug was retuned to Tug Construction LLC of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Tier IV compliant, Caterpillar 3516E diesel engines. With Rolls Royce US 255-P30-FP z-drives. Outfitted with two, 2,600(mm), stainless steel propellers. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 5,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 125kW John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 127,000 gallons of fuel, 1,137 gallons of lube oil, 1,263 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 6,534 gallons of water.

The towing equipment consists of a 50 horsepower, Markey DEPC-48, electric, hawser winch, on her bow. And, a 100 horsepower, Markey TESD-34, double drum, towing winch on her stern.
