Built in 1979, by Halter Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #835) as the Marion C. Bouchard for the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York.

In 1998, the tug was outfitted with an INTERcon coupler system. Although the tug was fitted with a coupler system. Her towing equipment was retained to allow for traditional towing.

In 2020, she was placed out of service and was "laid up" at Tampa, Florida.

In 2021, the tug was acquired by JMB Shipping Operations of Los Angeles, California. Where she retained her name.

In 2021, the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington was contracted to manage and operate the unit. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2022, the tug was scrapped at Gibson, Louisiana.

She was powered by two, EMD 16-645E diesel engines. Turning two, Padgett Swann, bronze, fixed pitch, propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 6,140 horsepower.

The tug's capacities were 144,238 gallons of fuel.
