In 1976, Central Towing Incorporated renamed the tug as the Mr. Fern.
In 1989, the tug was acquired by Point Houmas Fleeting Incorporated of Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1992, she was acquired by Slidell Towing Incorporated of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Celeste McKinney.
In 2007, the tug was acquired by American Commercial Barge Lines of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Where she retained her name.
In 2008, she was acquired by Talen's Marine and Fuel Company of Jennings, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Terry Fontenot.
In 2013, the tug was acquired by Martin Midstream Partnership Incorporated of Vidor, Texas. Where she retained her name.
Powered by two, GM 12V-149 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears; at a ratio of 7:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,350 horsepower.
