Built in 2001, by C-Fab Incorporated and Cenac Shipyard Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana as the Dorado for Horizon Maritime LLC. of Houston, Texas.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Xena Cenac.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Xena.

Powered by two, Cummins QSK19-M diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,320 horsepower.
