Built in 1967, by the Equitable Equipment Company Incorporated of Madisonville, Louisiana (hull #1482) as the Dottie-Do for Hardaway Contracting Company of Tampa, Florida.

In 1997, the tug was acquired by the A.J. Brothers Marine Construction Company of Williamsville, New York. Where she was renamed as the Miss Jaclyn.

In 2001, she was acquired by the Buffalo Industrial Diving Company of Buffalo, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by Man O’ Trees Incorporated of Buffalo, New York. Where she was renamed as the Jaclyn.

In 2016 she was acquired by Dean Marine and Excavating Incorporated of Mount Clemens, Michigan. Where the tug was renamed as the Megan J.

She is a twin screw tug, rated at 400 horsepower.
