Built in 1976, by the Houma Shipbuilding Company of Houma, Louisiana (hull #64) as the Miss Barbara for Jefferson Marine Towing Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

In 1981, the tug was acquired by G and D Towing Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Rachel.

In 1985, she was acquired by WAR Marine Incorporated Lockport, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the John Wade.

In 1989, the tug was acquired by the Caillou Island Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Pat Cenac.

In 2019, she was acquired by Dixie Towing LLC. of Jacksonville, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Lindy Lou.

Powered by two, GM 8V-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 800 horsepower.
