Built in 2023, by C and C Marine and Repair Company of Belle Chasse, Louisiana (hull #UR-NB5) as the Jack Nash for Maritime Partners LLC. of Metairie, Louisiana.

The vessel is named for Maritime Partners’ first employee besides founders Austin Sperry, president of the company, and Bick Brooks, who serves as CEO.

Powered by two, Tier III compliant, Cummins QSK38-M1 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF 665 reduction gears. Turning two, 82(in) by 67(in), four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat rated at 2,600 horsepower.

The tug's electrical service is provided by two, 99 kW Cummins QSB7-DM generator sets.
