Powered by two, EMD 12-645-E7 Turbo diesel engines. With Falk MR1635 reduction gears, at a ratio of 3.958:1. Turning two, Avondale, 102(in) by 82(in), four bladed, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 4,300 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 170kW, Caterpillar generator sets. Driven by two, Caterpillar 3306 DT diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 88,243 gallons of fuel, 845 gallons of lube oil, and 10,000 gallons of water.
