Built in 1978, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #325) as the Miss Marcia for Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 1982, the tug was acquired by Superior Marine Incorporated of Morgan City, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Captain Gary.

In 2005, she was acquired by the Sterling Equipment Company of Quincy, Massachusetts. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2007, the tug was acquired by Bisso Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Eva Bisso.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by Marinex Construction Incorporated of Charleston, South Carolina. Where the tug was renamed as the Sega.

In 2018, she was acquired by Noah Towing LLC. of Charleston, South Carolina. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2025, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Charleston, South Carolina.

Powered by two, GM 16V-92 diesel engines, with Twin Disc 527 reduction gears at a ratio of 5:1, turning two 65(in) by 46(in) "open" stainless steel propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 2,400 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 30 kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM V3-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 16,500 gallons of fuel oil, 200 gallons of lube oil, and 2,500 gallons of potable water.

The towing gear consists of a single drum, SMATCO 44 towing winch. Outfitted with 2,000(ft) of 1.25(in) towing wire.
