MILES STANDISH

Built in 1904, at New London, Connecticut as the Miles Standish for the Thames Towboat Company of New London, Connecticut.

The tug was destroyed in the Hurricane of 1938. She powered by a single, steam engine. With a 16(in) diameter, 15(in) stroke. The steam was generated in a vertical leg boiler, 7(ft) in diameter, and 9(ft) high for a rated 150 horsepower.
