Built in 2004, by Rodriguez Boatbuilders Incorporated of Bayou La Batre, Alabama (hull #241) as the Pere Ana C. for the Cvitanovic Boat Service Incorporated Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

In 2010, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Carrier.

Powered by three, Detroit Diesel series 60 diesel engines. Turning three, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a triple screw tug, rated at 1,800 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 17,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 25,000 gallons of potable water.
