The Suderman and Young Towing Company, along with the Bay Houston Towing Company of Houston, Texas. Maintained an operating company, the G and H Towing Company of Houston, Texas.
In 2011, the tug was acquired by the McAllister Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Kathryne E. McAllister.
In 2016, she was "laid up" at McAllister Towing and Transportation's yard in Charleston, South Carolina.
Powered by a single, EMD 16-645E7B diesel engine. With a Reintjes WAV 3400 reduction gear, at a ratio of 5.053:1. The tug is single screw tug, outfitted with a flanking rudder. For a rated 3,070 horsepower.
The tug's capacities are 46,932 gallons of fuel, 1,256 gallons of lube oil, and 3,225 gallons of potable water.
