EL FALCON GRANDE

Built in 1975, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #290) as the Jason Alario for Nolty J. Theriot Offshore Incorporated of Golden Meadow, Louisiana.

In 1984, the tug was sold. Where she was renamed as the Polar I.

In 1985, she was acquired by Tidewater Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the El Falcon Grande.

In 2006, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Moon.

Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, EMD 16-645E5 diesel engines. With Lufkin RS3622 reduction gears. Turning two, cast steel, four bladed, 122.5(in) by 121.8(in) propellers mounted in kort nozzles. For a rated 6,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM DD 8V-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 181,300 gallons of fuel oil, 6,600 gallons of lube oil, 84,702 gallons of cargo water, and 6,600 gallons of potable water.

The tug's towing gear consists of a double drum, INTERcon, SBS towing winch. Outfitted with 5,900(ft) of 2.3(in) towing wire on each drum.
