Built in 2010, by North American Shipbuilding Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana (hull #264) as the Forte for Edison Chouest Offshore Incorporated of Galliano, Louisiana.
Powered by two, twelve cylinder, Caterpillar C280-12 diesel engines. With Jason Engineering SRG-C255VK-CCW-01 gears, at a ratio of 1:2.04. Turning two, Voith Schneider 3990 R-Type drives. She is rated at 10,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by three, 500kW, Kato Engineering AA25335004, double bearing, AC generator sets. The tug's capacities are 107,039 gallons of fuel, 599 gallons of hydraulic oil, 7,799 of lube oil, and 38,833 gallons of water.
