RUTH M. REINAUER

Built in 2008, by SENESCO Marine of North Kingston, Rhode Island (hull #202) as the Ruth M. Reinauer for the Reinauer Transportation Companies of Staten Island, New York.

She was the first Ruth class FACETTUG tug designed by Robert Hill of Ocean Tug and Barge Engineering for the Reinauer Transportation Companies.

Powered by two, MTU 16v-4000 M60 diesel engines. With Lufkin RS2850HG reduction gears, at a ratio of 7.5:1. Turning two, three bladed NAUTICAN 104(in), fixed pitch, propellers. Mounted in NAUTICAL kort nozzles, with triple shutter, rudders. For a rated 4,720 horsepower.

The tug is fitted with an INTERcon Series "C" coupler system. With two, 34(in) diameter pins. Her electrical power is supplied by three, 99kW, John Deere generators, with Marathon electric ends. One generator is dedicated to the INTERcon coupler system. Her capacities are 87,440 gallons of fuel, 1,664 gallons of hydraulic oil, 5,811 gallons of lube oil, and 17,171 gallons of water.
