Built in 1964, in Port Arthur, Texas as the Esso Fuel Oil for the Esso Shipping Company of Wilmington, Delaware.

She was later renamed as the Fuel Oil

The vessel was later acquired by Boston Fuel Transportation Company of Boston, Massachusetts. A subsidy of the Reinauer Transportation Companies of Staten Island, New York. Where she was renamed as TB-146.

On April 10th of 2001, the vessel went out of documentation. And she was "laid up" in Boston at Boston Towing and Transportation's Border Street Yard in East Boston, Massachusetts.

In 2010, the unit was towed to Erie Basin in Brooklyn, New York where she was "laid up."

In 2011, she was scrapped at SENESCO Shipyard in North Kingston, Rhode Island
