Built in 1960, by Equitable Equipment of Madisonville, Louisiana (hull #1193) as the Little Curtis for Stuart Transportation of Piney Point, Maryland.

The tug was later acquired by by MRT of New York, New York where the tug transported trash barges around New York Harbor where the tug retained her name.

She was then acquired by the MBJ Corporation of Norfolk, Virginia where she retained her name.

The tug was eventually acquired by BayGulf Trading Corporation, where she retained her name.

In 2007, the tug was acquired by K-Sea Transportation Partners of East Brunswick, New Jersey where the tug was renamed as the Timor Sea.

In 2011, K-Sea Transportation was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas, where the tug retained her name.

The tug is no longer listed as active. She has been reported as sold to an "Undisclosed Interest."

She is a twin screw tug rated at 1,920 horsepower, with a fuel capacity of 16,740 gallons.
