Built in 1978, by Allied Shipyard Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana (hull #154) as the Judy Ann for the E S T Barge Company Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana.
In 1980 the tug was renamed as the Lori Bell.
In 1981, she was acquired by the Marine Power and Equipment Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug was renamed as the Good News Bay.
She was later acquired by Campbell Towing and Marine Construction Incorporated of Astoria, Oregon. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1996, the tug was acquired by the Western Pioneer Shipping Company of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.
In 1998, she was acquired by Global Towing Services Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Global Voyager.
In 2009, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Crosby.
Powered by three, Caterpillar 3406B diesel engines. Turning three, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a triple screw tug, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 30kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM 3-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 22,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 6,000 gallons of potable water.
The tug's towing gear consists of a single drum, Smatco 44, anchor towing winch.
