Built in 1970, by Halter Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #237) as the Mister Mike for the Jackson Marine Corporation of Houston, Texas.

The Jackson Marine Corporation was owned by the Halliburton Corporation of Houston, Texas. The company owned a total of ninety vessels. Consisting mainly of offshore tugs, and supply vessels. With some chemical transport and well stimulation vessels.

In 1985, Zapata Marine Service, Gulf Fleet Marine Incorporated, and Jackson Marine Services merged to form Zapata Gulf Marine Service Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1992, Zapata Gulf Marine Incorporated merged with Tidewater Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Karl Foss.

In 2001, she was then acquired by Global International Marine Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Samson.

In 2006, the tug was acquired by the Norfolk Tug Company of Norfolk, Virginia. Where she was renamed as the Miss Gill.

In 2022, she was acquired by the Fournier Towing and Ship Service Incorporated of Belfast, Maine. Where the tug was renamed as the Fournier Girls.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines. With ZF reduction gears at a ratio, of 6.833:1. Turning two, 105(in) by 60(in), four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 3,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW Kohler 99EOZC generator sets. Driven by two, John Deere 6068TFM76A diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 72,000 gallons of fuel oil, 1,200 gallons of lube oil, and 15,000 gallons of potable water.

The towing gear consists of a Skagit, double drum, towing winch. Outfitted with 2(in) towing wire, on each drum.
