KINSMAN EAGLE

Built in 1988, however by construction was originally begun by the Nashville Bridge Company of Nashville, Tennessee (hull #4168).

However, the project was transferred to Halter Marine Services Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana as the Kinsman Eagle for the Bay Transportation Company of Tampa, Florida.

In 1993, the tug was acquired by Bay and Delta Maritime Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where she was renamed as the Delta Deanna.

In 1999, she was acquired by SeaBulk Towing Services Incorporated of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Eagle.

In 2022, the tug was phased out of active service. And was "laid up" at Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Powered by two, seven cylinder, Burmeister and Wain 7S28LU-4 diesel engines. With Niigata ZP3A z-drives. Outfitted with 67(in), four bladed, stainless steel propellers. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 3,200 horsepower.

The tug's electrical service is provided by two, 135kW Caterpillar 3306 generator sets. Her capacities are 78,000 gallons of fuel, 509 gallons of lube and hydraulic oil, and 6,000 gallons of potable water.

Her deck equipment consists of an INTERcon 175, double drum, towing and escort, winch. Mounted on her stern.
