ARCTURUS

Built in 1952, by Pacific Coast Engineering of Alameda, California (hull #150) as the Sea Scout for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.

A sister to the tug Sea Duke. She was designed by Naval Architect Chris Norgaard, the "in house" Naval Architect with Crowley Marine Services.

In 1997, the tug was acquired by the Brusco Tug and Barge Company of Longview, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Arcturus.

In 2016, she was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Sacramento, California.

In 2023, the tug was scrapped at Mare Island in Vallejo, California. She was a single screw tug, rated at 2,200.
