Built in 1975, by Delmar Systems Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana (hull #2) as the Enterprise for Delmar Systems Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana.

In 1992, the tug was acquired by the Brix Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Howard Olsen.

In 1993, the Brix Maritime Company was acquired by Foss Maritime of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2017, she was acquired by Salmon Bay Barge Line Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed the Enterprise.

In 2018, Salmon Bay Barge Line Incorporated renamed the tug as the Luther.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3606 diesel engines. Turning two, cast steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 3,000 horsepower.
