In 1999, Holywood Marine Incorporated was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, Detroit Diesel 60 series diesels engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. She is a twin screw, square bow, push boat. Rated at 960 horsepower.
