Built in 1968, by the Dravo Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in (hull #5148) as the Jane McAllister for the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York.

In 2015, the tug was chartered to the Eastport Port Authority of Eastport, Maine. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2020, she was acquired by Eastport Port Authority of Eastport, Maine. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2022, the tug was acquired by an undisclosed interest in Guyana. Where she retained her name.

She was a single screw, tug fitted with a flanking rudder, and a sort nozzle for a rated 3,000 horsepower.
