Built in 1959, by Gladding Hearn Shipbuilding of Somerset, Massachusetts (hull #43) as the Duke for the Hays Tug and Launch Company of Wallingford, Pennsylvania.

Although, the tug is still listed in documentation. She is no longer in active service, and is "laid up" at the Hays Tug and Launch Company's yard in Chester, Pennsylvania.

She is a single screw tug, rated at 220 horsepower.
