Built in 1990, by Delaware Marine and Manufacturing of Milford, Delaware (hull #118) as the Willkate for the Marine Launch Company of Baltimore, Maryland.

The vessel was later acquired by the Vane Brothers Company of Baltimore, Maryland. Where she retained her name.

She is utilized to deliver stores, and marine lubricants to customers in the Port of Baltimore. As well as serving as a crew boat, and dive platform.
