Built in 1920, by John Mathis and Company of Camden, New Jersey (hull #2) as the Wizard for the United States Shipping Board.

The tug was later acquired by the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Carrie T. Meseck.

The Meseck Towing and Transportation Company eventually renamed the tug as the Edward A. Meseck.

In 1954, the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company was acquired by the Moran Towing Company of New York, New York. Where initially the tug retained her name.

In 1955, the Moran Towing Company renamed the tug as the Margaret A. Moran.

In 1959, she was scrapped. The tug was single screw, rated at 650 horsepower.
