Built in 1979, by Delaware Marine and Manufacturing of Milford, Delaware (hull #115) as the Anne for the Vane Brothers Company of Baltimore, Maryland.

Named for Anne Hughes DeCamps, sister of Vane Brothers Company president C. Duff Hughes.

She was the third vessel to join the Vane Brothers fleet. Entering service on October 13th, 1979 at Fells Point in Baltimore, Maryland.

In 2004, she was acquired by Maine Coastal Petroleum of Tenants Harbor, Maine. Where she retained her name.
