Her electrical service is provided by three 150 kW Marathon 431PSL6254 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 49,400 gallons of fuel, 2,065 gallons of lube oil, 435 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 11,491 gallons of potable water.
She is "married" to the 399(ft), 74(ft), by 30(ft), 80,000(bbl) barge the Gulf Carrier. That was constructed simultaneously at Conrad Shipyard in Morgan City, Louisiana (hull #1086) as the Gulf Carrier for the John W. Stone Oil Distributors of Cut Off, Louisiana.
